Join Bill and his guest Cory Robertson. Emmy award winning storyteller, Cory graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Communications and Journalism. After working in the media as a journalist, Cory started a Real Estate business with an emphasis on visual marketing for his clients. He is experienced in writing, producing and directing. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for connecting people through impactful storytelling was the foundation for launching Your Story.
“I firmly believe that there is no better way to convey a narrative than by immersing oneself in the shoes of the storyteller.” – Cory Robertson, Founder
This ethos became the foundation of Your Story, where each project is approached with a genuine desire to capture and convey the essence of individual experiences. At a pivotal crossroads in his career, the idea of starting Your Story crystallized. Reflecting on his aspirations, Cory realized that the one thing he wanted to do was create a company dedicated to storytelling, a space where diverse stories could find a platform. This marked the beginning of a journey to build a company that thrives on interesting projects and contributes positively to the world. The motivation behind Your Story goes beyond professional success. It is driven by a deep-seated desire to engage in adventurous work, to push creative boundaries, and to build something that not only does well commercially but also serves a greater purpose. The aspiration is to create a legacy of impactful storytelling, leaving a positive imprint on the world and fostering a sense of pride in the work accomplished.
